Deputy manager-business development (global exports)

Role Overview :

Drive global business growth by managing key export accounts, expanding international customers, and ensuring seamless execution from order confirmation to payment realization while delivering profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end execution of export orders, from confirmation to payment collection. Manage key international accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction. Drive business development by acquiring new importers and expanding market share. Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize profitability. Monitor account P& L, margins, receivables, claims, and DSO. Coordinate with supply chain, operations, logistics, and finance teams for seamless execution. Resolve customer issues and claims while protecting business margins. Identify market opportunities through trade data, customer insights, and competitor analysis. Build long-term relationships with importers across global markets. Travel internationally as required to strengthen customer relationships and develop new business.

Key Requirements: 4–8 years of experience in International Business Development, Export Sales, Key Account Management, or Export Operations. Strong understanding of export documentation, Incoterms, international trade, and payment terms (LC, DA, DP, TT). Proven experience managing global customers and export order execution. Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and relationship management skills. Proficient in Excel and data analysis for business insights. Experience in Fruits & Vegetables, Agri Exports, FMCG, or Food Exports is preferred. Willingness to travel internationally.
