Well known across the region Large scale ground-up projects About Our Client One of the largest general contractors in the region with an excellent reputation for delivering projects and employee retention. Job Description Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities for light industrial projects. Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project timelines are met. Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays proactively. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns. Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the construction process. Manage materials, equipment, and resources efficiently to minimize waste and control costs. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: Experience managing ground-up construction projects, particularly in the light industrial sector. Strong leadership and organizational skills to oversee multiple teams and tasks effectively. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and project stakeholders. Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure. Familiarity with construction scheduling and cost management. What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $125,000 to $165,000 USD.
