Platform Engineer - Kubernetes

What You’ll Do:

Build, run and maintain highly available, high-performance on-prem Kubernetes clusters
Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes with in-house tooling
Work with engineering teams to design and build CI/CD pipelines for on-prem environments
Monitor, debug and tune clusters for reliability and performance
Apply on-prem Kubernetes security best practices, including RBAC, network policies and secrets management
Write automation to manage infrastructure and keep environments consistent across clusters
Optimize the storage and networking setups that support the clusters
Own cluster upgrades, backups and disaster recovery planning
Keep up with Kubernetes and on-prem infrastructure developments and bring useful updates into the environment



What You’ll Bring: xzbcwsv

3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, ideally on-prem
Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration
Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines
Strong grasp of Kubernetes security best practices
Solid scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Python)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes storage and networking
Able to diagnose and fix complex problems quickly
Strong communication and collaboration skills
