DescriptionJoin our Health & Benefits Team as a Risk Benefits Consultant in our London office, working in a flexible hybrid model. If you're passionate about helping organisations build healthier, more resilient workforces, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Large Corporate Risk Benefits team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting clients across all aspects of workforce health management.In this role, you will provide expert consulting services—advising clients on risk and health-related insurances and helping them implement effective solutions that support employee wellbeing. Your work will directly influence how organisations protect, manage, and enhance the health of their people.You’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for the full spectrum of group insurance services. This includes market broking, renewals, day-to-day administration, and strategic consulting. You will also support clients with underwriting, funding models, benefits, scheme governance, absence management and wellbeing services.If you're seeking a role with purpose, impact, and variety, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the world of employee health and benefits. Please note we are looking for the successful candidate to start from January 2027.TheRole:Provide strategic consultative advice to clients around the design, delivery and ongoing managementoftheirbenefitprogrammes,workingwithotherconsultants withinthe RiskTeam, Health & Benefits and wider WTW business.Proactivelyupdateownknowledgeofeconomic,legislative and regulatory changesthroughnews briefs/publications, industry bodies and networking.Applying this knowledge to day-to-day work.Liaise with and manageprovidersforownclientbaseusingnegotiationandinfluencingskillsasappropriate.Servicing,consultingwithandretainingexistingclientswithan exceptionallevelofserviceandcredibility.Planandorganiserenewals.Designandredesignofbenefits.Assistwithre-brokingexercises,analysisandverificationofproviders'contractterms.Dealwithqueriesfromclients.Maintainqualitycontrolprocedures.Development of other colleagues’ technical knowledge and experience of the risk market, including market developments and best practice.QualificationsThe Requirements:Comprehensiveandup-to-datetechnicalknowledgeandpracticalexperienceintheareasof Employee Benefits.Excellent knowledge of the group risk market (ideally supported by GR1 qualification), with experienceof healthcare (ideally supported by IF7 qualification) being seen as advantageous, but not essential.Consulting experience within employee benefits risk market.Goodstandardofwrittenandoralcommunication.Theabilitytoworkwithminimumsupervisionandwithincross-disciplinaryteams.ComputerliteracyofMicrosoftOfficesoftware,inparticularWord,ExcelandPowerPoint.Abletolearnquickly,useowninitiative, manage andorganiseownworkloadeffectively.Abletoworkquickly,butaccuratelyinaprofessionalenvironment.An understanding and appreciation of broader employee health issues would be an advantage,aswouldexperienceofwellbeingandtechnologyplatforms,allofwhichare key aspects to future progression.What we offerEnjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive, both professionally and personally.
