SSM Health is seeking an Autotransfusionist to support surgical teams by providing safe, timely intraoperative blood conservation services. In this role, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot cell saver and autotransfusion equipment, ensuring accurate collection, processing, and reinfusion of blood during cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, and other complex procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, maintain detailed documentation, follow rigorous infection control and safety standards, and participate in on‑call coverage.
