Surveyor – Transmission Line

Job Description Job Purpose Verify route, alignment, levels, coordinates, tower locations, substation setting-out and as-built survey information in accordance with approved drawings and project survey control requirements. Key Responsibilities Verify primary and secondary survey control points, coordinates, benchmarks and reference levels. Review the contractor's survey methodology, equipment calibration certificates and survey-control procedures. Carry out check surveys for route alignment, tower locations, angle points and terminal points. Verify tower spotting, span lengths, ground levels, profiles, clearances and tower-extension requirements. Check foundation centre lines, stub-setting coordinates, levels and orientation.
