About the Role.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Public Relations Specialist to support communication and outreach initiatives for a prestigious Government project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in media relations, public communications, campaign execution, and stakeholder management, with prior experience handling Government, PSU, or political projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing and public relations plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and key stakeholders.
• Draft press releases, speeches, media notes, and other communication materials.
• Coordinate media interactions, press conferences, and public events.
• Execute integrated communication campaigns for Government initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on campaign performance.
• Manage crisis communication and protect the project's public image.
• Collaborate with internal teams and Government officials to ensure consistent messaging.
• Support branding, outreach, and public awareness initiatives.
• Stay updated with current affairs, media trends, and Government communication policies.

Required Skills

• Strong media relations and networking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in public affairs and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of digital communication and social media is an advantage.
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Public Relations or Corporate Communications.
• Prior experience working on Government, PSU, or political projects is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong network across print, digital, and electronic media.
• Experience coordinating with Government departments and senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
