Position SummaryThe Heavy Civil Form Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and removing concrete forms for bridges, foundations, walls, abutments, piers, and other heavy civil structures. This position requires experience working from plans and specifications while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.ResponsibilitiesBuild, install, brace, and strip concrete forms for heavy civil construction projects.Construct forms for foundations, walls, footings, bridge decks, abutments, piers, and other concrete structures.Measure, cut, assemble, and install lumber, plywood, and formwork systems.Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.Set forms to proper line, grade, elevation, and dimensions.Install embeds, block-outs, chamfers, and other form components as required.Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and related structural concrete activities.Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and other carpentry equipment.Work from scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, and around active heavy equipment.Inspect formwork before concrete placement and make necessary adjustments.Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.Follow all company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements. xzbcwsv Perform additional duties as needed to support field operations.PIdd76ef7b9c31-37639-41878963
