About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (Fresher) to join our Consolidation and Financial Reporting team. The role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial consolidation, statutory reporting, audit coordination, and compliance within a large corporate environment. The incumbent will work closely with senior stakeholders and support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with Ind AS/IFRS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and financial reports.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate with group entities for collection and validation of financial information.
• Assist in intercompany reconciliations and resolution of differences.
• Support related party reporting and compliance requirements.
• Assist in statutory audit activities and coordination with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial analysis reports.
• Support documentation of accounting positions and technical accounting matters.
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives within the finance function.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting timelines.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified in the recent 0-2 years.
• Strong academic record with a sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS.
• Understanding of financial statements and consolidation concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn financial reporting, compliance, and consolidation processes.

Preferred Skills

• Articleship experience in a Big 4 or reputed audit firm.
• Exposure to statutory audits, financial reporting, or group reporting during articleship.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage.
