Machine Operator - Converting

Location: South Plainfield, New Jersey Employment Type: Full-Time Work Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week) About ECO3 ECO3 is a leading global supplier of prepress and printing solutions to the graphic arts industry. About the Role We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join our Converting team in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment, is willing to learn different tasks, and can adapt to changing production needs. In this role, you will operate production equipment, support daily manufacturing activities, and ensure that products meet our safety, quality, and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment across multiple production workstations safely and efficiently. Perform equipment adjustments and routine inspections to maintain production efficiency and product quality. Follow production schedules while meeting established quality and productivity standards. Cut printing plates according to customer specifications. Prepare, wrap, and package finished products for shipment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety guidelines. Identify and report equipment issues or quality concerns. Support additional production activities as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow work instructions and safety procedures. Basic mechanical and electromechanical aptitude, with an understanding of industrial equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to learn new tasks and work across different production areas. Ability to work 10-hour shifts and meet production deadlines. Preferred: Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment. Experience operating industrial machinery or production equipment. Previous forklift operating experience. Forklift certification.
