Aviation Civil EngineerAt AtkinsRéalis, we are seeking an Aviation Civil Engineer to join our Airport Engineering Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Nashville, TN.Your RoleYour responsibilities will include:Assisting with the design of airport pavements, runways, taxiways, and airside/landside infrastructure.Performing engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates for airport improvement projects.Preparing engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.Performing grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design calculations.Supporting preparation of technical reports, specifications, and basis of design reports.Conducting site visits and construction inspections to monitor project progress.Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including transportation, structural, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and environmental engineers.Ensuring designs comply with FAA regulations, airport design standards, and local requirements and assisting with FAA grant and airport improvement program documentation.About YouWe are looking for candidates with:0-2 years of professional experience in a related technical field.Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.Special skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater and drainage design, geometric design, construction documentation, communication, and teamwork.Professional registration as E.I. or E.I.T.
