BPA Transition / Implementation Manager

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Transitions / Implementations Manager to join a growing pensions operations team, supporting the implementation of BPA business through buy-in, transition, buy-out and post transaction. Ongoing management of complex defined benefit pension arrangements.You will play a key role in the successful implementation and transition of pension schemes, working closely with trustees, third‑party administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging end‑to‑end project deliveryManaging scheme onboarding and implementation activitiesSupporting data due diligence, validation and quality reviewsCoordinating scheme transitions and operational readiness activitiesManaging relationships with trustees, administrators and key stakeholdersOverseeing data migration, cleansing and control processesSupporting payroll and member administration transition activitiesProducing management information, reporting and valuation extractsIdentifying operational risks and ensuring appropriate governance controls are maintainedContributing to process improvement initiatives and operational best practiceAbout You – EssentialStrong Defined Benefit (DB) pensions experienceExperience managing pension scheme implementations, transitions, projects or operational change activitiesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pension and member dataExperience working with pensions administration systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to deadlinesDesirableExperience within Bulk Purchase Annuities (BPA) or Pension Risk TransferExperience with scheme onboarding, buy‑ins, buy‑outs or data migration projectsKnowledge of reinsurance arrangementsPMI qualifications or a willingness to study towards professional qualificationsWhat's on OfferHybrid and flexible working arrangementsOpportunity to join a growing and evolving pensions businessExposure to high‑profile pension scheme implementations and transitionsCollaborative and supportive team environmentCareer development opportunities within a specialist pensions functionCompetitive salary and benefits packageContact: bill.traynor@oliverjames.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
