Providing clinical expertise in mental health and substance use disorder treatment services, the full-time Oregon Licensed Utilization Coordinator will manage authorization requests, conduct clinical reviews, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Review authorization requests and determine the adequacy of provided information, requesting additional details as necessary Make authorization decisions based on medical necessity criteria and sound clinical judgment, consulting with Licensed Practitioners as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with community providers and relevant parties to ensure quality care Required qualifications Master's degree in behavioral health required Licensed clinical social worker or licensed professional counselor Five years of experience working with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness Proficiency in MS software or Google Suites Ability to work occasional rotating on-call hours
