About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver for a local delivery position in Marietta, Georgia. This role involves delivering HVAC supplies and equipment using 26-foot box trucks and F-250 pickup trucks. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and the opportunity to become permanent.

Pay & Schedule

• $23.50 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Local delivery routes in Marietta, Georgia
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Freight: HVAC supplies and equipment
• Equipment: 26-foot box trucks and F-250 pickup trucks with automatic transmissions
• Delivery area: Typically within a two-hour range from the store
• Handling: Heavy touch, including unloading or assisting with unloading materials

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver HVAC supplies and equipment to local customers.
• Unload or assist with unloading materials and collect customer signatures.
• Pick up customer returns and local purchase orders.
• Secure materials and remain within applicable weight limits.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform driving duties while providing professional customer service.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
