Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as feeding and swallowing challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting standardized evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering one-on-one and group interventions, and documenting progress in a clear, accurate manner. The role involves close collaboration with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and effective home-based strategies. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in team meetings, case reviews, and parent education sessions to support holistic child development. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Orange Child Development & Rehabilitation Centre in Kozhikode.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Speech Therapy and the assessment and treatment of Speech-related concerns.
- Strong knowledge of Communication Disorders and Language Disorders, with experience developing individualized intervention plans.
- Clinical skills in evaluating and managing Dysphagia and feeding/swallowing difficulties in pediatric clients.
- Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution; relevant professional licensure/registration as required.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, and learning disabilities in a clinical or school-based setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with parents and caregivers.
- Strong documentation, time management, and caseload organization skills, with commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Comfort working on-site in a child-centered environment; openness to ongoing learning, training, and professional development.
