Process Safety Management Assistant

Industrial Systems Consulting is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Assistant / Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) Scribe to support refinery operations in Laurel, Montana.

About the RoleThis role works with the refinery’s PSM Supervisor to prepare and document PHA studies and support process safety data management. The successful candidate will help develop, implement, and continually improve an integrated Safety Lifecycle Management System that supports the refinery’s process safety and occupational health and safety objectives. This position is well suited to someone who is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable accurately documenting technical discussions.
ResponsibilitiesProvide scribe support during PHA sessions, accurately documenting discussions, findings, and recommendations.Assist with the preparation and development of PHA studies and supporting documentation.Prepare PHA regulatory reports for review.Support Safety Lifecycle Management data entry, organization, and maintenance.Coordinate assigned documentation tasks with the PSM Supervisor and study team to meet deadlines and maintain quality and accuracy.
QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Required SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently and as part of a team.Self motivated approach, commitment to accurate work, and a strong customer service focus.
Preferred SkillsTwo or more years of refinery experience.Proficiency with aeShield or similar PHA software. xzbcwsv Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
