<p>Job Title: Data Engineer – Snowflake &amp; dbt (5+ Years Experience) </p><p>Experience 5+ Years </p><p>Job Summary </p><p>We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake, dbt, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and experience building scalable data pipelines. </p> <p>Key Responsibilities </p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt. </p><p>- Build and optimize ELT/ETL workflows for data ingestion and transformation. </p><p>- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimizations. </p><p>- Implement and maintain data models following best practices. </p><p>- Work with orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar schedulers. </p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions. </p><p>- Implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment and version control of data engineering projects. </p><p>- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms. </p><p>- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing data pipelines. </p> <p>Required Skills </p><p>- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering. </p><p>- Strong SQL programming skills. </p><p>- Hands-on experience with Snowflake. </p><p>- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool). </p><p>- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensions, Facts, SCDs, etc.). </p><p>- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies. </p><p>- Experience with orchestration/scheduling tools such as Airflow or equivalent. </p><p>- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tools. </p><p>- Experience working on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). </p><p>- Good understanding of data modelling and performance tuning. </p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </p> <p>Good to Have </p><p>- Python programming. </p><p>- Experience with Git and version control. </p><p>- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. </p><p>- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools. </p><p>- Experience working with large-scale data platforms. </p> <p>Preferred Qualifications </p><p>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. </p><p>- Snowflake and/or cloud certifications are an added advantage. </p>
