What you’ll doRun customer billing, cash application, and collections in TAI TMS, and resolve short pays and disputesProcess carrier payables, including quick pay, factoring, and freight-in-transit accrualsOwn weekly and monthly commission settlements for our independent freight agents, including statements, chargebacks, and balance reconciliationsBuild agent program reporting: revenue, margin, and performance by agent officeTrack cargo claims from filing through resolution, including recoveries and chargebacksPrepare entries, accruals, and reconciliations for month-end closeBe the point person for audits, 1099s, tax payments, and annual filingsBe the go-to accounting user for TAI TMSWhat you bringBachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-eligible a plus)5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in freight brokerage and a 3pl evironmentHow money moves xzbcwsv in a brokerage: billing, carrier pay, quick pay, factoring, claims, and agent commissionsTAI TMS experience strongly preferred, plus advanced ExcelYou’re comfortable doing the detail work yourself, and you want to build and lead a team as we growWhy Red WolfA seat at the table early in a company that’s growingA clear path from individual contributor to leader
