About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to provide shore-based technical support and ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of vessels.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining vessel performance, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness while collaborating closely with vessel crew, owners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee technical management of assigned vessels ensuring safe and efficient operations Monitor and ensure adherence to Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Manage vessel budgets and optimize operating costs without compromising safety Ensure all statutory and class certifications are up to date Coordinate surveys, inspections, and audits with minimal observations Plan and supervise dry docking, repairs, and maintenance activities Monitor vessel performance trends and drive corrective actions Ensure timely supply of spares, stores, and services Conduct incident investigations, risk analysis, and implement corrective actions Prepare and share technical, performance, and cost reports with vessel owners Act as the primary technical point of contact between vessels and stakeholders Support onboard teams (Master & Chief Engineer) for smooth vessel operations Manage contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance Drive MOC (Management of Change) processes for modifications and installations

Qualifications:

MEO Class I Certificate of Competency (COC) Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer

Skills Required:

Strong technical understanding of marine machinery and vessel operations Good knowledge of maintenance planning and dry docking Familiarity with class and regulatory requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
