Hiring: Field Service Technician – Industrial Machinery

Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote considered)

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: 50–75% across the U.S. and Canada

Compensation: $35–$45/hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, granulators, and plastics processing equipment at customer facilities throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and granulators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical systems.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Provide onsite technical support and complete service reports.
• Identify solutions to reduce equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial machinery maintenance or service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of 480V electrical systems and VFDs highly desirable.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
