About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Strategy & Operations Manager to strengthen and expand Go-Grab’s operations across South India.

This is a high-ownership role that sits at the intersection of strategy, business development and on-ground execution. You will be responsible for improving operational processes, managing machine and inventory performance, leading operations teams, identifying expansion opportunities and building relationships with potential location and business partners.

The ideal candidate is structured, resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment. You should be able to move seamlessly between analysing operational data, solving day-to-day execution challenges and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Go-Grab’s operational and business expansion across South India by identifying, evaluating and launching high-potential locations.
• Build and manage relationships with institutional decision-makers, location partners, vendors and distributors to support new partnerships and market growth.
• Oversee the day-to-day performance of vending machines, including deployment, replenishment, maintenance, refunds and operational issue resolution.
• Manage inventory availability, product assortment, stock movement and replenishment planning to minimise stock-outs, expiry and wastage.
• Analyse machine- and location-level performance data to identify operational gaps, improve revenue and enhance customer experience.
• Lead operations executives and field teams, strengthen standard operating procedures and ensure timely, accountable execution across locations.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant experience in quick commerce, e-commerce, retail operations, logistics, or another fast-paced, operations-led business.
• Current residence in South India, with a strong understanding of the region’s markets and business environment.
• Professional proficiency in English and fluency in at least one of the following languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada or Malayalam. Proficiency in two or more of these languages would be an advantage.
• Experience managing multi-location operations, inventory, replenishment, field teams or location-level execution.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with spreadsheets, operational dashboards and performance reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities independently in a remote working environment, with willingness to travel across South India when required.
• A high-ownership, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset, supported by strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
