Education Construction Specialist

B.S. in an industry-related field, advanced degree preferred.A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience leading large-scale capital programs and complex design and construction initiatives.The candidate shall demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing programs with an aggregate value exceeding $500 million, including oversight of multiple concurrent projects ranging from $25 million to $150 million, diverse stakeholder groups, and large multidisciplinary teams.Experience delivering higher education, municipal, and/or K–12 educational facility programs.Professional registration, other specific certifications such as CCM, CCE, or advanced specialized technical knowledge preferred.Detailed knowledge of construction, principles of construction management and project controls, with specialized knowledge in several areas, including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and construction techniques.Knowledge and demonstrated experience in personnel and project management techniques, including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development.Ability to manage teams on large, complex projects.Experience with initiating strategic approach to projects, marketing, and business development opportunities.Manages major clients and is capable of managing multiple teams and multiple assignments, taking projects from conception to completion.Ability to provide a team strategy to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. xzbcwsv Ability to lead a team’s efforts to analyze and optimize internal and external processes.
