Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP program manager to assist our customer in a global roll-out of SAP S/4 HANA. This role is responsible for driving execution within the APAC region, ensuring alignment to global integration milestones and maintaining rigorous control over deliverables, risks, and dependencies.

This is a hands-on execution role. The candidate is expected to actively drive progress, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure regional commitments are delivered — not just report status.

In addition, the role will support local execution of change management activities, partnering with the central change team to ensure adoption and readiness at the regional level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale SAP implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring that multiple related projects align with overall business goals, budgets, and timelines
• Ensure coordination across multiple SAP initiatives and projects
• Align global stakeholders and keep projects within the SAP program on track
• Drive Regional Execution: Own and drive the regional execution plan; ensure alignment to global milestones, timelines and strategy
• Plan, Milestones & RAID Management: Maintain detailed plans; track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation and recovery actions
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage project dependencies across regions and functions; remove blockers and keep program execution moving
• Governance & Reporting: Provide accurate program status updates; support governance forums; escalate risks and issues as needed
• Stakeholder Management: Drive accountability across regional stakeholders through structured follow-ups and action tracking
• Change Execution Support: Execute regional change activities (e.g., communications, training coordination, readiness tracking) in alignment with the central change team

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of program / project management experience, in large-scale SAP programs
• Experience running large, complex portfolios of projects rather than just a single project
• Deep knowledge of SAP systems, architecture, and deployment lifecycles
• Experience driving large-scale SAP programs within the APAC region
• Experience working across global, cross-functional teams
• Ability to drive execution across multiple stakeholders and geographies
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (ADO, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Concur)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
• Eagerness to grow into broader PM responsibilities within the program
• PMP and PgMP certifications a big plus

Working Model & Time Zone Expectations

• Offshore role with required daily overlap with US Eastern Time (morning EST)
• Align to APAC stakeholders + US coordination
• Must be comfortable operating across multiple time zones
