About the Role:

As Planner, you're responsible for contributing to the delivery and maintenance of full

suit of Project Controls to the project, such as Planning & Scheduling, Risk Management, Progress and Performance Analysis, Delay Analysis and Reporting. You will be working closely with all members of the other teams including Site, Commercial and Engineering.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional certifications like PMP, Prince2, PMI-SP shall be an added advantage but not mandatory. 6 – 10 Years' experience in Planning and Project Management. Minimum 4 years of experience on Global UK or US Projects, Middle East but not mandatory. Understanding of Clauses 31 & 32 of the NEC Contract or any relevant clauses of FIDIC / GCC. Multidiscipline experience and understanding Proficiency in the use of planning techniques and the required planning toolsets such as Primavera P6 – Preferably on Civil works, temporary works, interface works Capable of developing progress S Curves to demonstrate project performance. Must have strong understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations. Knowledge of Earned Value Principles and reporting An understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications An understanding of the events that initiate, and of the methods used to demonstrate, delay or change entitlement Good understanding of risk and opportunity management with particular reference to planning/programming Ability to interrogate / take information from drawings

Key Role & Responsibilities

Ensuring that the Contract Programme is produced, managed and maintained in accordance with the planning procedures for Low value and complex projects related to temporary works, interface with main works Ensure Plan has required Resources Allocated and Resource Plan is Maintained. Ensure Plan contains all items required for Procurement and identify key dates for orders Identifies Opportunities Across Project to Optimise Resource Utilisation (Resource Smoothing) Provide Robust Challenge to Delivery Team in Respect to Project performance Developing overall programmes, issuing to all parties for review and implementing recommendations, innovation and best practice as applicable Reconciling company and sub-contract plant/labour and major materials elements in conjunction where appropriate Applying resource levelling techniques as necessary Interfacing with third parties to identify and resolve issues Ensuring that the Contract Programme is produced, managed and maintained in accordance with the planning procedures. Set up appropriate lean visual programme to assist the Project Team to timely deliver projects and improve productivity, performance and safety of projects Managing the interface between the Programme and the Project Team and other stakeholders, and securing engagement with the Programme through structured meetings and progress reporting
