Role Description The Lending Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves assessing loan applications, gathering and verifying client documentation, and coordinating with partner banks and NBFCs to facilitate approvals. The Lending Specialist will advise customers on suitable loan products, explain terms and conditions, and support them throughout the application and disbursement process. Daily responsibilities include performing initial credit checks, monitoring application status, resolving customer queries, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, meeting turnaround time targets, and contributing to overall portfolio quality.

Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and partner institutions. Knowledge of Finance and Loans to understand various products such as mortgage, home, business, personal, and working capital facilities. Underwriting skills to evaluate creditworthiness, analyze financial documents, and recommend appropriate lending decisions. Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and proficiency with standard office and financial software tools. Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or loan advisory is preferred. Relevant academic background in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is advantageous.
