Site Project Manager (Pump Storage Project)

<p><strong>Site Locations: </strong> Chitravati Andhra Pradesh </p><p><br /></p><p>Site Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the on-site planning, coordination, and execution of pump storage projects. This role ensures seamless alignment with organizational goals while managing on-site resources, supervising contractors and vendors, managing key stakeholders (internal and externals), mitigating risks, and monitoring project progress to ensure successful, timely, and cost-effective project delivery at the site. </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities: </strong> </p><p><strong>Project Execution </strong> </p><ul><li>Oversee all site activities from pre-construction to commissioning. </li><li>Ensure alignment with project plans, approved drawings, method statements technical specifications, and quality standards. </li><li>Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth execution. </li><li>Maintain a dynamic risk register and ensure regular updates based on project progress and stakeholder inputs. </li><li>Identify potential risks (technical, financial, environmental) and develop mitigation strategies. </li><li>Maintain a dynamic risk register and ensure regular updates based on project progress and coordinate to ensure proactive risk management. </li> </ul><p><strong>Project Performance &amp; Budgeting </strong> </p><ul><li>Monitor project milestones, cost performance, and resource utilization. </li><li>Implement corrective actions to address deviations from budget or schedule. </li><li>Timely reporting of project performance dashboards and financial reports to the management. </li> </ul><p><strong>Safety and quality at Project Site </strong> </p><ul><li>Enforce robust safety and quality management systems across all site operations. </li><li>Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and internal quality standards. </li><li>Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and quality inspections. </li><li>Drive a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement in workmanship. </li><li>Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions based on safety and quality observations. </li><li>Facilitate training programs to enhance awareness and accountability among site personnel. </li> </ul><p><strong>Stakeholder &amp; Team Engagement </strong> </p><ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, local communities, contractors, and internal stakeholders. </li><li>Facilitate timely approvals, resolve site-level issues, and ensure transparent communication. </li><li>Eure timely identification, requirement planning, and placement of project personnel as per site needs and the approved organogram. </li> </ul><p><strong>CSR Initiative </strong> </p><ul><li>Identify and implement CSR programs that benefit local communities. </li><li>Collaborate with NGOs and local authorities for sustainable development. </li><li>Track impact and ensure alignment with corporate CSR goals. </li> </ul><p><strong>Team Engagement &amp; Development </strong> </p><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and motivate site teams to achieve project goals. </li><li>Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs. </li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Education Qualification </strong> </p><p>B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a specialization in hydropower. </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Work Experience </strong> </p><ul><li>18+ years of experience in large scale hydropower projects. </li><li>Proven track record in leading large-scale hydropower projects, managing project teams, and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget. </li><li>Strong understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, quality assurance principles, and financial management. </li> </ul>
