About the Company:

Mungi Group has manufactured engineering products for OEMs since 1984 — from 4 presses and a single customer to a pan-India footprint and a turnover of over ₹2,000 crores. Our Chakan facility runs heavy fabricated and machined assemblies, hot stamping, transfer and tandem presses, and pick-and-place automation lines, backed by an in-house tool room.

We supply Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Lear Corporation, TACO, Dana Spicer, Volkswagen, Hyundai Construction, Schmitz Cargobull and Nordex.

About the role:

You are the point of contact between our customers and our internal teams for Sheet Metal Heavy Fabrication, Forging & Machining, and Exports. You own the RFQ-to-order cycle end to end.

This is a technical account management role. There is no cold calling and no sales target. Our customers come to us with enquiries — your job is to convert them accurately and quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive RFQs from customer teams and handle the technical queries that follow

- Study drawings and prepare the initial RFQ summary

- Review in-house costing, prepare the commercial costing, take internal approval, and lead the first round of negotiation

- Act as the interface between the customer and our development team on new product and supplier development

- Manage export customers from enquiry through to supply monitoring

- Visit customers regularly and build working relationships with their junior and middle-management engineering teams

Required skills and experience:

- BE / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (essential)

- 5-6 years in key account management, business development, costing or customer-facing engineering

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, forging, machining or auto components preferred — we will consider strong candidates from adjacent manufacturing

- Comfortable with regular customer visits
