Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Fuel Dispatcher role located in Manassas, VA. The Dispatcher will coordinate and schedule drivers, monitor transportation operations, and ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Responsibilities include managing schedules, communicating with drivers and customers, maintaining accurate records, and resolving any logistical challenges that arise. The Dispatcher will work closely with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
QualificationsProficiency in scheduling, route planning, and logistics coordinationStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with drivers, customers, and team membersDetail-oriented with skills in data entry, record-keeping, and administrative tasksProblem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address logistical challenges and identify effective solutionsKnowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements is a plusPrevious experience in a dispatch or transportation coordination role is preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in relevant computer software xzbcwsv and dispatch systems is advantageous
