A Sales Accountant is responsible for recording, controlling, and analysing all financial transactions related to sales, including invoicing, VAT, revenue recognition, and debtor management. They reconcile sales data, maintain customer contracts, manage incoming/outgoing goods, and provide periodic reports to track profitability.

Key Responsibilities: Invoice Management: Creating, issuing, and maintaining sales invoices, ensuring accurate unit prices and product quantities. Revenue & Tax Recording: Accurately recording sales revenue and managing Value Added Tax (VAT) for compliance. Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconciling customer accounts, debt, and payment records with accounting staff to ensure accuracy. Data Control: Tracking sales transactions, managing customer vouchers, and monitoring inventory movement to ensure alignment with warehouse records. Performance Analysis: Analyzing sales figures, monitoring expenses, and assisting in the evaluation of business profitability. Customer & Vendor Management: Maintaining updated information regarding customers and suppliers to facilitate efficient sales operations. Extending the necessary supports to Sales Team for Channel partner expansion – Dealers/Distributors.

Required Skills: Technical Accounting: Proficient in accounting software-SAP HANA, Excel, and understanding of tax regulations. Must be Chartered Accountant Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and sales metrics. Attention to Detail: High precision in ensuring in documentation and data entry.

This role ensures that all sales activities are accurately accounted for, helping the business track revenue and manage debts effectively.
