Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with 10+ years of overall experience and a strong technical background in software development. The ideal candidate should have progressed from a Developer/Software Engineer role into Technical Leadership and Project Management , with hands-on experience in technologies such as Embedded Systems .
Experience in the Automotive or Aerospace domain is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end technical projects from planning through successful delivery.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional software and engineering teams.
- Drive project planning, estimation, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and execution.
- Work closely with developers, architects, QA teams, product teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery timelines.
- Provide technical leadership and support based on prior programming and engineering experience.
- Manage customer and stakeholder communication, including project status and escalations.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, quality processes, and domain-specific engineering standards.
- Facilitate technical discussions and support issue resolution.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT/Engineering experience.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or Project Manager .
- Strong prior hands-on programming background in one or more of:
- C++
- Embedded Systems
- Embedded C / C++
- Clear career progression from Developer/Software Engineer → Technical Lead → Project Manager/Technical Project Manager .
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
- Experience managing software development or engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and project management methodologies .
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, MS Project , or similar tools.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, client communication, team management, and risk management.
