Intellectual Property Associate – Patent Prosecution (Chemistry/Molecular Biology) I m partnering with a well-established Am Law 200 firm looking to add an experienced Patent Prosecution Associate to its growing Intellectual Property practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a background in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Biotechnology who is looking for sophisticated work, meaningful client exposure, and long-term career growth within a highly collaborative environment. The Opportunity: -Draft and prosecute patent applications across a variety of life sciences and chemical technologies -Advise on patentability, clearance opinions, patent portfolio strategy, licensing, and enforcement -Work closely with accomplished IP attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment -Gain exposure to sophisticated clients and opportunities for long-term professional growth What We re Looking For: -3+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience -Technical background in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field -Experience in pharmaceuticals, antibodies, immunology, genetics, or organic chemistry preferred -PhD highly desirable -USPTO registration and active bar admission required This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a platform where they can have a meaningful impact, work directly with experienced partners, and continue developing their practice.
