DETAILS OF THE ROLE

Position Title: Associate Director - L&D Trainer

Reports To: Director

Experience: 10-12+years in Learning and Development

Location: Mumbai (Lower Parel)


Role Overview

This role requires strong facilitation capability across classroom and virtual formats, with the ability to engage participants through experiential learning, role plays, simulations, case discussions, and application-based activities. The trainer should also be comfortable using behavioural assessment tools to support individual development and learning impact.


Program Design and Delivery

  • Design and deliver leadership and behavioural training programs aligned with organizational capability requirements, competency frameworks, and business priorities.
  • Facilitate sessions in classroom, virtual, and hybrid environments using interactive and experiential learning techniques.
  • Create engaging learning experiences using role plays, case studies, group discussions, simulations, self-reflection exercises, and action-learning methods.
  • Facilitate behavioural change through reflection, peer learning, practical exercises, and workplace application assignments.
  • Support employees and managers in developing self-awareness and Individual Development Plan
  • Reinforce organizational values, culture, and expected leadership behaviours through training interventions.


Content Customization

  • Adapt training content for different delivery formats, including in-person, virtual, hybrid, modular, and blended learning formats.
  • Develop facilitator guides, participant workbooks, case studies, role-play scenarios, learning activities, and reinforcement material.
  • Incorporate relevant leadership models, behavioural frameworks, business scenarios, and workplace examples into programs.
  • Ensure content is practical, business-relevant, and suitable for middle-level leaders and employees.


Assessment and Tools Proficiency

  • Administer and interpret behavioural and leadership assessment tools such as DISC, MBTI, FIRO-B, TKI, Emotional Intelligence assessments, 360-degree feedback, and other relevant instruments.
  • Use assessment outcomes to provide participants with self-awareness, behavioural insights, and development recommendations.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, pre- and post-assessments, manager feedback, action plans, and behavioural observations.
