About the Role

Mio Design is hiring a creative Video Editor and Motion Graphics to serve as an end-to-end video finisher. You will take briefs from concept to final polish, combining editing, motion graphics, sound, colour grading, and AI-assisted workflows.

While deeply hands-on, you will also collaborate with and guide 2–3 junior team members to maintain high quality and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideation & Concepting: Translate brand and campaign briefs into strong video concepts, visual treatments, storyboards, and AI pre-visualisations.
• End-to-End Production: Own editing, motion graphics, kinetic typography, VFX, colour grading, and sound design across social media, brand films, explainers, and performance ads.
• AI-First Execution: Use AI tools (prompting, pre-viz, asset and video generation) alongside traditional workflows to boost turnaround speed and output quality.
• Team Ownership & Workflow: Help 2–3 editors/animators break down tasks, coordinate deliverables, and review work without acting as a formal people manager.
• Quality & Client Presentation: Maintain strict brand consistency, present edit choices to stakeholders/clients, and deliver release-ready masters on schedule.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: 2–6 years in an advertising agency, digital agency, or brand content studio.
• Software: Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator , and Media Encoder .
• AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like Adobe Firefly, Higgsfield AI, ChatGPT , and modern video/image generation platforms (including prompt engineering).
• Technical Craft: Strong editing rhythm, kinetic typography, compositing, sound sync, and colour correction across all platform-specific aspect ratios.
• Project Ownership: Proven track record of managing projects independently from brief to final master.

Portfolio Expectations

Your showreel/portfolio must demonstrate:

1. High-performing digital/social campaigns, brand films, and performance ads.
2. Complete ownership of projects from concept through final delivery.
3. Examples of AI-generated or AI-assisted work with explanations of your process, prompts, and final integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Automobile (car/bike footage edits) and BFSI brands.
• Experience creating repeatable, AI-enabled production workflows.

Not Suitable For

• Candidates whose primary background is in wedding/fashion videography or feature film production .
