Position Overview:

The Delivery Head position is part of our partnership program with Dassault Systems and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality execution of RAF’s training programs, engineering services, consulting assignments, and technical commitments. This role leads the team of trainers, engineering consultants, domain specialists, and project execution staff.

The Delivery Head ensures Ramaiah Institute for Advanced Skills and Technology (RAF) delivers technically credible, industry-relevant, and client-focused outcomes in training and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of all RAF training, corporate programs, engineering consulting assignments, and service projects.
• Ensure delivery quality, adherence to timelines, effective resource allocation, project planning, and client sign-offs.
• Develop delivery processes for requirement gathering, scope definition, execution tracking, quality review, and final acceptance.
• Ensure that client expectations are clearly captured and translated into technical deliverables.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership across domains including:
• CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM, MBSE, CFD.
• Mechanical design.
• Electrical and electronics design.
• Manufacturing process planning.
• Smart manufacturing.
• EV and automotive engineering.
• Aerospace and industrial equipment.

Guide trainers and consultants in applying Dassault Systèmes solutions and engineering workflows to industry challenges. Capable of supporting both training and revenue-generating consulting engagements.

Training Delivery Management:

• Own the quality of all student, faculty, and corporate training programs. Delivery plans, trainer guides, assessment methods, project work, and certification readiness.
• Ensure training programs are industry-oriented and linked to employability, internships, projects, and engineering services.
• Monitor trainer performance, student feedback, learning outcomes, and certification success rates.

Engineering Services and Consulting Delivery:

• Lead execution of engineering service assignments such as product design, 3D modelling, simulation, manufacturing process design, digital manufacturing, and technical documentation.
• Ensure strong requirement-gathering capability during client discussions.
• Drive technical proposals, effort estimation, delivery planning, and project sign-off.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables to enable invoicing and repeat business.

Team Development:

• Build and mentor a team of trainers, consultants, domain experts, project engineers, and technical leads.
• Identify skill gaps and implement internal capability-building programs.
• Create a culture of technical depth, accountability, documentation, and delivery discipline.
• Ensure RAF’s delivery team is equipped to manage both academic training and industry consulting assignments.

Required Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in engineering delivery, technical consulting, product development, CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Strong exposure to engineering services delivery for Indian or global clients.
• Experience in managing technical teams, trainers, project engineers, and consultants.
• Hands-on understanding of Dassault Systèmes tools or similar engineering platforms is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in training, technical presales, or engineering services delivery is an added advantage.
