About the Role We are looking for a skilled Magento 2 Frontend Developer with strong experience in Hyvä theme development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in migrating from Magento Luma/Blank themes to Hyvä and building high-performance, modern storefronts.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Magento 2 frontend using Hyvä themes
Lead or support migration from Luma/Blank theme to Hyvä
Build responsive, high-performance UI components using Tailwind CSS & Alpine.js (Hyvä stack)
Customize Magento 2 themes and modules as per business requirements
Optimize frontend performance, Core Web Vitals, and page speed
Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and QA teams
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
Follow best practices in Magento and Hyvä development
Required Skills 3+ years of experience in Magento 2 frontend development
Strong hands-on experience with Hyvä theme
Proven experience in Luma → Hyvä migration projects
Proficiency in:
HTML5, CSS3, Java Script (ES6+)
Tailwind CSS
Alpine.js
Solid understanding of Magento 2:
Layout XML, PHTML templates
UI components (basic understanding)
Experience with Git/version control
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
Good to Have Experience with Hyvä Checkout
Understanding of Magento backend/module development
Experience working on B2 B ecommerce projects
Familiarity with Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals optimization

Hands-on problem solver (not just theme implementer)
