Company Description:Design Plus Architects (DPA) is a Gurgaon-based architecture and design practice working across institutional, hospitality, residential, sports, commercial and large-scale master planning projects .

Role:Design Plus Architects is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business across private-sector clients, institutional opportunities and public-sector tenders .
This is a hands-on role for someone who can identify opportunities, open doors, secure meetings, manage tender submissions and keep the firm's credentials and business-development material continuously ready .
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue private and public-sector opportunities relevant to architecture, interiors, master planning and project consultancy.
- Take ownership of government and institutional tendering — tracking opportunities, evaluating eligibility and coordinating complete submissions.
- Monitor GeM, CPPP, e-tender portals, PSUs, government departments and institutional procurement platforms .
- Develop private-sector leads and proactively set up meetings with developers, institutions, corporates and potential clients .
- Handle outreach through emails, calls, LinkedIn and direct introductions , with quick and structured follow-up.
- Coordinate EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, tenders, empanelments and pre-qualification submissions .
- Prepare and customise company profiles, credentials, capability presentations and pitch PPTs .
- Maintain registrations and empanelments with government departments, PSUs, institutions and private organisations .
- Maintain an organised database of projects, credentials, certificates, team CVs, registrations and statutory documents required for submissions.
- Track leads, meetings, submissions and follow-ups through a structured business-development pipeline .
- Coordinate with the Principal Architects and project teams for technical and commercial inputs.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in Business Development / Tendering, preferably within architecture, engineering, construction, PMC, real estate or professional consultancy.
- Strong hands-on experience in public-sector tendering is essential.
- Good understanding of eligibility criteria, technical bids, financial bids, EMDs, tender documentation and compliance requirements .
- Strong written communication and ability to prepare clear, professional emails quickly .
- Confident in approaching prospective clients and converting introductions into meetings .
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills .
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously .
- Commercially aware, responsive and proactive.
