Light Duty Tow Truck Operator – Belle Fourche, SDPlains Towing is hiring reliable, safety-conscious drivers to join our Belle Fourche team. Whether you're an experienced operator or new to towing and recovery, we provide paid in-house training to get you certified on our equipment.Pay & Benefits$18–$30/hour DOE, depending on experience, plus unlimited overtime and performance bonusesHealth insurance401(k) with 3% company match40 Hours PTO per year - increasing annuallyUniform, Winter Gear, and other required PPE ProvidedScheduleThis is a 5-day-per-week schedule, either Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday (shift assignment based on rotation/seniority). It's tow/recovery work, not a standard desk job, within those 5 days expect:Shifts that can run 12+ hours depending on call volumeOccasional long-distance tow/recovery runs on short noticeWork in all weather conditionsWhat You'll DoLoad, secure, and transport vehicles safely and without damageOperate wreckers and other specialized recovery equipmentRespond to tow/recovery calls, including long-distance dispatchesMaintain assigned equipment and facilities in safe working conditionFollow all DOT and company safety regulationsQualifications21+ years oldValid driver's license required. Class A CDL is required for rotator/heavy-unit positions; a standard license may qualify you for lighter-duty units, with the option to train into CDL roles.Able to lift 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequentlyAble to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkHow to ApplyApply online!
