Quality Operations Specialist – 1st Shift

Location: Woburn, MA | Onsite Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay: $23–$25/hr during temp assignment; $26/hr upon conversion Start: ASAP

Job Summary

Seeking a Quality Operations Specialist to support pharmaceutical repackaging operations, quality inspections, labeling, documentation, and compliance with cGMP standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience in QA/QC within an FDA-regulated facility.
• Medication repackaging experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical labeling, inspections, deviations, and quality audits.
• Experience with controlled substances, DEA Form 222, and ARCOS is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite starting at 6:00 AM.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
• Create and update pharmaceutical labels and drug information.
• Maintain quality and training documentation.
• Support deviations, investigations, and quality audits.
• Track controlled substances and maintain required records.
• Support drug destruction and retain sample audits.
• Report quality issues and out-of-specification results to management.
