Maintenance Technician II

The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the position as necessary. Provides leadership and limited supervision of subordinate mechanics; assigns and reviews work, and offers training, advises and assists as needed. Inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs all types of mechanical, structural, and operational equipment owned and operated by the agency. Performs general maintenance, such as structural and mechanical metal fabrication, plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, insulating and minor electrical repairs.
