Senior Tax Accountant

Please read first: this role is hybrid in Great Neck, NY, three days a week on site. Great Neck is about 25 minutes from Penn Station on the LIRR Port Washington line. If you cannot reliably be in the Great Neck office three days a week, this is not the right fit.

The firm focuses on tax planning and wealth management for high net worth individuals and privately held businesses, and the work leans toward proactive planning rather than year-end cleanup.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, S-corps, and trustsManage ongoing client relationships and serve as a trusted advisorConduct tax research and provide planning recommendationsSupervise and mentor junior team membersSupport leadership on complex compliance and planning engagementsIdentify tax savings opportunities and communicate them proactively to clientsYou should have xzbcwsv most of the following
3 or more years of public accounting or high net worth tax experienceCPA license or CPA eligible preferredExperience with individual, trust, partnership, or estate taxationFamiliarity with wealth management tax planning concepts is a plusStrong organizational and communication skillsProficiency in CCH, UltraTax, or comparable tax softwareAble to commute to Great Neck, NY three days a weekIf you are further along than a Senior, we still want to hear from you.
