Job description Production Manager Rubber products Manufacturing Job Title: Production Manager Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu Experience: 8–15 Years Salary: Best in Industry Industry: Rubber Products / Sports Goods Manufacturing Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our rubber balls and tennis balls manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, shop floor management, quality, productivity, manpower utilization, and continuous process improvement while ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute daily production schedules. Manage rubber compounding, molding, vulcanization, trimming, finishing, and packing operations. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Improve productivity, reduce scrap, and minimize machine downtime. Lead production supervisors, engineers, and operators across shifts. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Stores departments. Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements. Monitor production KPIs such as OEE, rejection, productivity, and cost. Candidate Profile BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, Rubber Technology, or a related discipline. 8–15 years of experience in rubber products manufacturing. Experience in rubber balls, tennis balls, molded rubber products, or sports goods manufacturing is preferred. Strong knowledge of rubber compounding, molding, vulcanization, and production planning. Good leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills. Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office is preferred.
