Duties/Responsibilities:This position supports the mission of the Land Development Division by collaborating with a team of engineers in preparing engineering designs for various projects. They will be a part of the design team in the execution and management of projects.Design of stormwater management systems for new construction and existing developments.Grading of new construction and existing developments, including roads, retaining walls, swales and stormwater management elements.
Required Skills and Abilities:Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills and ability to use sound engineering judgement.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Demonstrated teamwork capabilities.Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.Proficiency with computer systems to maintain project documents including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (AutoCad a plus).Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in Land Development.1-2 years of experience in grading and drainage design. xzbcwsv Experience in a construction or engineering office.
