Lead Azure Developer

We are looking for a Lead Azure Developer to join our engineering team and take ownership of designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.This is a hands-on software engineering leadership role for someone with deep Azure development experience who can solve complex technical challenges, drive architecture and development decisions, and mentor other engineers. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications and services on Azure.Develop scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.Design and implement solutions using Azure compute, storage, database, messaging, integration, and monitoring services.Translate business and technical requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Provide technical leadership throughout the complete SDLC, from design and development through deployment and production support.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software engineering, security, performance, and coding standards.Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Managers, DevOps, QA, Data Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and drive root-cause resolution.Support CI/CD automation and cloud deployment processes.Mentor and guide developers, helping establish strong engineering practices and technical standards.Evaluate new Azure capabilities and recommend technologies that improve scalability, reliability, and engineering efficiency.Azure & Cloud SkillsStrong hands-on experience with several of the following:Azure App ServicesAzure FunctionsAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Azure API ManagementAzure Service BusAzure Event Grid / Event HubsAzure StorageAzure SQL / Cosmos DBAzure Key VaultAzure Monitor / Application InsightsMicrosoft Entra ID / Azure ADAzure DevOps and CI/CDDocker and KubernetesTerraform / Bicep or other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies

Qualifications7–10+ years of professional software development experienceSignificant hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft AzureProven experience building and supporting production-grade cloud applicationsStrong backend development and software engineering fundamentalsExperience leading technical initiatives and making architecture/design decisionsAbility to mentor developers and provide technical directionStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
