Accounts Payable Specialist | Midtown Manhattan | Hybrid | $75K–$80K+ | Discretionary Bonus About the Role A privately owned, growing wholesale company is seeking an experienced AP Specialist to oversee core accounts payable functions across two affiliated businesses. This is a hands-on opportunity with visibility to the finance leadership team and potential for growth. Top Requirements 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience Wholesale industry experience is required Experience working with inventory-related accounting Strong vendor management and AP aging experience Experience with cash forecasting and AP postings Ability to prepare and track AP KPIs QuickBooks experience Bachelor's degree preferred Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the AP inbox and daily AP operations. Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice/payment issues. Post AP transactions and monitor AP aging. Prepare cash forecasts and support cash management. Process and review expense reports. Prepare AP reporting and KPIs for management. Work closely with the Controllers, VP of Finance, Credit Manager, and Senior Accountant. Potentially oversee an offshore AP data-entry team . Support AP processes related to inventory and wholesale operations. Assist with process improvements and the upcoming Microsoft Dynamics implementation . Compensation
