Your New Role

• Work on civil construction projects across project areas between Cleveland, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh.

• Reliably travel to assigned jobsites throughout these project areas. No overnight travel is expected.

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and skid steers.

• Complete underground utility and pipe installation work.

• Perform shoring, grading, and backfilling as part of underground construction projects.

• Assist with bridge restoration and bridge construction activities.

• Set forms, place rebar, and support concrete pouring.

• Perform grading, asphalt work, seeding, and other site restoration activities.

• Complete routine maintenance on construction equipment and vehicles.

• Follow established jobsite safety procedures.

• Work closely with the crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards.

• Approximately 3+ years of relevant hands-on construction experience. Related construction backgrounds and job titles are welcome, with priority given to experience in sewer, water, underground utilities, pipe installation, and excavation.

• Valid CDL Class A is highly preferred but not required.

• Heavy equipment operating experience with excavators, loaders, or skid steers is preferred but not required. Experienced construction laborers are encouraged to apply, and experience with every listed machine is not necessary.

• Experience with underground utilities, sewer and water lines, or pipe installation is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with shoring, grading, and backfilling is preferred.

• Experience with concrete and asphalt work is preferred.

• Ability to perform hands on construction work involving bridgework and site restoration.

• Completion of high school coursework.

• Ability to meet standard pre-employment screening requirements.

• Ability to reliably reach assigned jobsites across project areas between Cleveland, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh. No overnight travel is expected.
