Position Overview

Tech Avenue (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Specialist to join our Software Development Division. This role involves leading the design, development, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for AI-powered , custom enterprise , and cloud-based applications .

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience defining testing frameworks , conducting end-to-end QA activities (including functional, non-functional, performance, and security testing), and working within CI/CD environments. Expertise in black box , edge case , and testing methodologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, define, and develop testing frameworks from scratch , ensuring scalability, maintainability, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform Black Box Testing , Edge Case Testing , and Exploratory Testing to identify defects beyond expected user behaviors.
• Conduct Functional , Regression , Integration , Performance , and Load Testing across web, mobile, and API layers.
• Develop advanced automation frameworks & Test Harness tailored for AI-based and custom-built software.
• Generate and manage test cases directly from business requirements ensuring complete traceability.
• Test AI-driven components for accuracy, bias, and stability across data sets and inference cycles.
• Execute automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
• Manage automation execution in containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) .
• Research and integrate AI-assisted test generation , predictive analytics for defect identification, and self-healing automation frameworks.
• Document all test activities including test plans , test cases , and load testing summaries .
• Train and mentor QA engineers in framework development, automation techniques, and security testing.
• Identify, log, and track issues via JIRA , Azure DevOps , or other tools, ensuring timely closure.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Continuously evaluate new tools, techniques, and processes for QA and test automation optimization .
• Basics of Linux OS (Kernel, Scripts etc)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional QA experience, including test automation, framework design, and security testing.
• Proven ability to define and develop testing frameworks from scratch .
• Strong command of SDLC , STLC , Agile , and DevOps testing methodologies.
• Expertise in Black Box , Edge Case , and Exploratory Testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Appium (Java) for mobile testing.
• Rest Assured for API automation.
• Selenium , Cypress , or Playwright for web automation.
• Experience with Performance and Load Testing (e.g., JMeter , K6 , or Locust ).
• Exposure to Penetration Testing and VAPT processes (using tools such as OWASP ZAP , Burp Suite , or Nessus ).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and modular automation architecture.
• Proficient in SQL/Oracle for data verification.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience testing AI/ML systems , including validation of predictive model behavior and data quality.
• Familiarity with Security Testing Automation and vulnerability scanning.
• Understanding of BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit).
• Knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , and microservices-based testing .
• Familiarity with Azure Test Plans , Git-based repositories , and DevOps practices .
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB , CSTE , OSCP , or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) .
• Plan and execute Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to evaluate application and infrastructure security posture.

• Automation Coverage: 10–15% quarterly improvement.
• Security & VAPT Compliance: 100% adherence to internal security testing standards.
• Load & Performance Stability: Maintain 99% uptime under stress testing.
• Pipeline Integration: ≥ 98% successful test execution within CI/CD workflows.
