Interior Design Project Manager

Role Description The Interior Design Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves leading interior design projects from initial client briefing through design development, documentation, and final handover. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating space planning and design concepts, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, selecting furniture and finishes, and managing project timelines and budgets. The Interior Design Project Manager will collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal design teams to ensure design intent is maintained and deliverables meet quality standards. The role also requires regular site visits, progress tracking, issue resolution, and clear communication of project milestones and changes.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, visually cohesive concepts.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and oversight of on-site activities.
• Ability to develop and review detailed Construction Drawings, and collaborate effectively with contractors and technical teams.
• Experience in Furniture selection and coordination, including finishes, fixtures, and materials that align with design standards and budgets.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with relevant professional experience in managing interior projects.
• Knowledge of industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
