Role Description The PCB Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk. This role involves designing schematics and multilayer PCB layouts, selecting components, and preparing manufacturing documentation in line with project and industry standards. The engineer will collaborate with hardware, embedded, and mechanical teams to optimize board design for performance, manufacturability, and reliability. Daily tasks include reviewing design requirements, running design rule checks, coordinating with the fabrication unit, and resolving design or production issues. The role also includes updating design libraries, supporting testing and validation activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of PCB design processes and tools.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong PCB design skills, including schematic capture, multilayer layout, routing, and library management using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar).
- Candidates should possess solid electronics fundamentals, including understanding of analog and digital circuits, signal integrity, power distribution, and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Candidates should possess skills in design for manufacturing and assembly, including familiarity with fabrication processes, PCB stack-up design, component footprints, and production-quality documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in testing and troubleshooting, including basic lab measurements, use of test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer), and debugging PCB-related issues.
- Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective work with cross-functional teams, clear documentation, and timely reporting of design progress and risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in PCB design and hardware engineering.
- Experience with embedded systems, automotive or medical electronics, or other regulated domains is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
