Nexority Infotech is hiring experienced Assessment Writers with expertise in English Language Arts (ELA) and the US K-12 Curriculum.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have experience developing educational assessments, standardized test items, or item bank content for Grades 3-12. This is not a content writing, copywriting, SEO writing, or blog writing role.

Role: Assessment Writer - English Language Arts (US Curriculum)

Experience: 2-5 Years

Work Mode: Remote

Employment Type: Contract

• Develop high-quality ELA assessment items aligned with US state standards.
• Create and review assessment content for Grades 3-12.
• Write multiple item types, including technology-enhanced and traditional assessment questions.
• Review, revise, and improve assessment items based on quality guidelines.
• Ensure alignment with learning objectives, grade-level expectations, and curriculum standards.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, assessment specialists, and editors to maintain content quality.

• 2-5 years of experience in educational assessment development or item writing.
• Strong knowledge of the US K-12 Curriculum (Grades 3-12 preferred).
• Experience creating ELA assessments, item banks, or standardized test content.
• Familiarity with state standards such as Common Core or similar US academic standards.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality review experience.

• Experience with assessment management systems.
• Experience reviewing and editing assessment content.
• Background in EdTech, educational publishing, curriculum development, or assessment development.
