Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Vice President/Sr. Manager - BD to join our team at Excel Maritime. This role is pivotal in driving business development initiatives within the logistics and freight forwarding sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in lead generation, team management, and achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics industry, focusing on freight forwarding.
• Business Development: Formulate and implement strategies to enhance market presence and increase sales.
• Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed set sales targets and objectives.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in lead generation and business development within the logistics sector.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Any Bachelor's/Master degree in Logistics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in business development or sales, preferably in the logistics industry.
